Windscreen chip repair
Repairing a chip early keeps your original windscreen, and the factory seal that came with it. We inject resin into the damage to restore the strength of the glass and stop the chip spreading into a crack that would mean a full replacement.

When damage is too large, too deep or too close to the edge to repair, the windscreen has to come out. We replace it at your home or workplace with original equipment glass, bonded with automotive urethane, and we stay with the vehicle until the adhesive has cured, so it is ready to drive when we finish.

A rear windscreen is toughened glass, so it does not chip and crack the way a front windscreen does. It holds together until it does not, and then it goes all at once. Replacement is the only option, and clearing the fragments out properly is half the job.

Common questions about our services
What services do you provide across Sydney?
We repair and replace every kind of glass fitted to a road vehicle: windscreens, rear windscreens, side and quarter windows, sunroof glass and mirror glass, on cars, vans, utes and four wheel drives. That includes chip repairs, full windscreen replacement, glass broken in a break in, and glass on commercial and fleet vehicles. All of it is done where the vehicle is parked rather than at a workshop. What we do not do is the mechanical side of those assemblies: window regulators, mirror housings and sunroof mechanisms go to a mechanical repairer or a dealership.
Can my windscreen be repaired, or does it need replacing?
It depends on four things: how large the damage is, how deep it goes, where it sits on the glass, and whether it has already started to run. A shallow chip in the middle of the screen is usually a straightforward repair that lasts. Damage close to an edge sits where the glass carries the most stress, so it is more likely to spread and less likely to hold a repair. Damage directly in the driver's line of sight is judged more strictly, because a repair leaves a slight distortion behind. Send us a photograph taken in daylight and we will tell you honestly which one you have.
What are your service hours?
Our service hours are Monday to Saturday, 7am to 5pm, and we do not attend outside them, so a window broken on a Saturday evening waits until Monday morning. Within those hours, damage that has left a vehicle unsafe to drive, or a broken side window that has left it open to the weather, is brought forward ahead of routine work as far as the glass for that vehicle allows.
Which Sydney suburbs do you service?
We service the entire Sydney metropolitan area, including Central and Inner Sydney, the Eastern Suburbs and Northern Beaches, the North Shore and Northern Suburbs, and the South and West including Greater Western Sydney and the Macarthur Region. We do not travel to the Blue Mountains, Wollongong or the Central Coast.
How quickly can a technician attend?
The honest answer depends on your vehicle rather than on how busy we are, because auto glass is specific to the make, model and year. What decides it is stock: where we hold the glass for a common vehicle we can usually attend the next business day, and where it has to be ordered in, allow up to three days. We establish which when you book, so the correct glass and adhesive travel with the technician rather than being ordered after they arrive, and so you know the timing before you plan around it rather than afterwards.
