Access to or use of this Website constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. Sydney Windscreen Pros reserves the right to amend or update these terms, conditions, disclaimers and limitations of liability at any time and without prior notice.

The information on this Website is provided in good faith and is general in nature. We make every effort to keep it accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is complete, free of error, or suitable for your particular circumstances. Descriptions of services, timeframes and coverage areas are indicative only and may change without notice. Nothing on this Website constitutes a binding offer to supply.

Quotes and Estimates

Quotes are provided free of charge and without obligation. A quote is based on the information you supply to us, including the make, model and build year of the vehicle and any photograph of the damage you send, and where applicable on an inspection of the vehicle. Unless stated otherwise, a quote remains valid for 30 days from the date it is issued.

Where the work actually required differs from what was quoted, for example because damage to the vehicle beyond the glass only becomes apparent once work begins, or because the vehicle is fitted with equipment that was not identified when you booked, we will contact you to discuss the variation before proceeding. Any variation to the agreed scope may change both the price and the time the work takes.

Bookings, Access and Working Conditions

All of our work is carried out where your vehicle is located. You are responsible for making the vehicle available at the agreed time, in a place where a technician can lawfully and safely work beside it, with enough room to open the doors and move around the vehicle. Where the vehicle is in a basement car park, on a work site or behind a security gate, you are responsible for arranging access, permits or site induction beforehand and for telling us about height restrictions.

Glass bonded with automotive urethane cannot be fitted to a wet surface. Where the vehicle cannot be moved somewhere dry and sheltered and the weather does not permit the work to be carried out safely and correctly, we will reschedule rather than proceed. Extreme heat and strong wind may require the same decision.

We do not charge a callout fee, an attendance fee or an assessment fee in any circumstances. If a technician attends and cannot carry out the work, whether because access to the vehicle was unavailable, because the location is unsafe or unsuitable to work in, or because the weather does not permit it, we will simply not complete the job on that visit and will arrange another time with you. You are not charged for that visit.

Where the work involves a vehicle you do not own, you confirm that you have the owner's authority to have the work carried out. If the vehicle is a hire car, a lease or novated lease vehicle, or a company vehicle, check the terms of that agreement before booking, since some agreements specify who may carry out repairs and how damage is to be reported.

Payment

Unless other arrangements have been agreed in writing, payment is due on completion of the work. Invoices are issued in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable.

Title to any glass or components we supply remains with Sydney Windscreen Pros until payment has been received in full. Risk in those goods passes to you on fitting.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, please let us know as early as you can. Auto glass is specific to the make, model and build year of the vehicle, so a booking frequently involves glass ordered in for your vehicle alone. Cancellation at short notice may incur a fee where glass has already been ordered specifically for your vehicle, or where a technician has already been dispatched.

Consumer guarantees

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, and nothing in these terms limits those rights. Glass and components we supply also carry any warranty offered by their manufacturer, which is subject to the terms set by that manufacturer. Where a manufacturer warranty applies, we will help you make a claim under it.

Driver assistance camera calibration

Where your vehicle has a forward facing camera mounted behind the windscreen, that camera must be recalibrated after the glass is replaced. Where the manufacturer specifies a dynamic calibration, we carry it out as part of the same visit and it is included in the price of the replacement. Where the manufacturer specifies a static calibration, we replace the glass but the calibration itself must be carried out by a dealership, at your cost and arranged by you. We will tell you which applies to your vehicle before the booking is confirmed. Until that calibration has been completed, the systems relying on that camera should not be relied upon.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Sydney Windscreen Pros is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of income, loss of use or loss of opportunity, arising from the services we supply or from your use of this Website.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability can be limited, it is limited, at our option, to resupplying the services or paying the cost of having them resupplied.

Intellectual Property

All content on this Website, including text, photographs, graphics, logos and page layout, is owned by or licensed to Sydney Windscreen Pros and is protected by copyright. You may view and print pages for your own personal use. You may not reproduce, republish or distribute any part of this Website for any other purpose without our written permission.

Privacy

Any personal information you provide through this Website, including any photograph you send us, is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and Sydney Windscreen Pros each submit to the non exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
